Actually, throughout history, thought leaders have questioned thinking norms. In essence, they lead us to think differently and to question everything. In fact, so much of our thinking patterns are formed at a young age. We forget to question the status quo. We take metaphorical ideas and we label them as facts in our mind. I’ve designed this category to create a reaction and get your neurons moving!
For instance, taking a different route on a regular journey can help us to forge new neural networks in our brain. Thinking in new ways also achieves this. When I run training I ask “what if nothing you think is true is actually real?” That is to say, if you started with a blank sheet of paper, in the present moment, how would you write your belief system on a piece of paper?
Indeed, we often think this is an easy task. However, we forget to question the information we were fed in our childhood. In fact, it can be hard to go beyond the belief framework of social and familial conditioning. I encourage you to push beyond!
